Diamond Chapter meeting will be Saturday, May 24 at the Mt. Ida "Good Ole Days "car and motorcycle show in Mt. Ida. To put your motorcycle in the show you need to be there before 9:30 am. The meeting will be around 2:00 pm. Greg and Linda Bright will be there early to set up the Diamond Chapter Booth. They will need help signing up new members and setting up bikes.

It is only 30 miles to Mt. Ida so ride your bike and get together with some friends or just come show your bike. The Mt. Ida "Good Ole Days" is the city's big event for the year and all of the proceeds go to the 4H club. This is a fun day. For more info call 870-867-2311.

Diamond Chapter March Minutes:

The meeting was called to order by Michael Thomson at 'Smokin in Style' Bar B Que. (the best BBQ in town). Eight members were present. Greg and Linda Bright were in Missouri at a motorcycle swap meet and Russell Plunkett had to work, so we had a small turn out.

The Secretary and treasurer report was accepted..

Mike Parker had some great trivia questions. James Sandage was the winner. Several members paid their dues. The meeting was very causal as it should be.

We all talked about the Cherokee Chapter Road Run. The weather at the Road Run was the main topic but the ride and making new friends was a close second. The Road Run was a great success and we all had a good time. Thanks again to the Cherokee Chapter for doing a great job.

Upcoming events were discussed and the May meeting will be in Mt. Ida at the “Good Ole Days” on the 24th.

Diamond Chapter June meeting and Mini Road Run will be June 29th.

The club needs to get together to watch the movie "Why We Ride".

James Sandage's 1965 Harley Davidson Servi-Car was the bike of the month. I can't wait to see it when it is complete.

Gary Walker has bought a 50's Mustang. It is a very rare model.

Submitted by Michael Thomson Linda and Elizabeth were AWOL.
